Three Things You Must Do Before You Submit To Article Directories

To all writers and non-writers out there, now is the time to start digging up those creative writing skills. With modern communication technology comes the popularity of information-based marketing, which is one of the oldest and most effective techniques in getting targeted prospects to sites and converting them into buyers. This is

Article marketing has so many great ways of creating traffic, but they all hearken back to the idea of the backlink. When you write your article, in the resource box at the end, or even within the article itself, when the article directory permits it, you can include a backlink to your web site.

Since the article directories have to keep your resource box intact, this results in a link back to your website from every site that uses your article. Since your article must be relevant to the theme of these websites, the back links are all from relevant web pages, and these are valuable in improving Googles perception of the importance of your website to the keywords concerned. These back links can result in a vastly improved placement in search engine listings.

This is where all these links that were referred to in the second paragraph come from. So article marketing gives you a twofold benefit: direct visitors from the links to your site in your authors resource box, and indirect traffic from your improved listing in the search engines.

Another thing that is extremely important is the continuity of thought between the article and the web page to which you are linking. The web page should continue the theme of the article, and wherever possible capture an email address by means of an opt-in form. If you allow your visitor to leave your site without leaving an email address they will be lost forever.

Little wonder, then, that article marketing is one of the most popular techniques currently being used in internet marketing for website promotion. Start working on your own article marketing strategy now because nothing ever stands still in the world of search engines.

Making Money with Your Blog!

A place for finding the Nuts and Bolts for Making Money Online with Affiliate Marketing Business Opportunity!

Well, the title of this article is a question that I have once asked, "Is writing articles and submitting them to directories going to help your Online business?" and I am sure many others are also asking. How in the world can writing articles going to help in our online business? Good question. It certainly helps, this is my honest answer.

I have since written a few articles and got used a article submission company to submit it for me. You can also submit manually if you wish to, but it can be quite tedious and time consuming, plus you can only submit your article to one directory at one time. I am glad I used a article submission company like to do it for me, because when I submit one article, it is being distributed to hundreds of article directories in a short time. Not only did I save so much time, I have also learned many tips from the article submission company and get more exposure too. Let me tell you, when submitting your articles, you need to have some basic knowledge and tips to avoid having your article being rejected from article directories, especially those of very good standing.

Due to the professionalism of some articles directories, they will reject your article if your articles do not meet their standard. By using a article submission company and also due to their strict and professional handling of articles submission for their clients, they will proof read your articles by a computer first, and then follow by a human to vet through your articles again before they submit it for you. If they feel that you need to change certain things on your article, they will not hesitate to hold your article, write and inform you of your mistakes again and again until it is finally good, then they will submit for you. I think this is real good, because your article is going to be sent to hundreds of directories and it will also be indexed by Google if it is good enough. Thousands of people will be reading your article, so it better be readable.

Coming back to my answer, will it help you in your Online Business, yes, because subscribers for my newsletters have since increased, and the number of visitors to my website and blog too. In my bio box where I write a little information about myself, and have put my website and blog address there, so that when people read my articles, they may just wish to visit my website and blog. But please be advised that you do not write an article which is too much sales pitch in it and also in your bio box too. Be natural, be yourself, speak the truth and speak with integrity and conviction in whatever you are writing about.

If you have not tried writing any articles yet, or even asked a ghost writer to write for you yet, I suggest that you do so soon. When I first started my article writing, I did not know what and how to write, so I bought some articles from one article writer, from there I learned how to write articles. Hope this article will motivate you to start writing articles and submitting them to directories if you have not started yet.

Article marketing might seem hard when you first think about it, but once you have written and submitted a number of articles, it does get easier. Follow these simple steps to help you get started, quickly and easily.

1) Narrow down your web site topics and perhaps make a list of them. When you are trying to write articles, sometimes it is easy to feel like you do not have anything to write about. One easy way to counteract that is to write a list of 10-20 things that you can write about main topics. Then, write a list of questions that can be asked about your topic. Once you have those lists, you now have a large number of mini-topics you can use to write articles about. Just answer each one of the topics in an article you should never run out of fresh ideas using this method!

2) Write the article. Use a structure similar to this one for your first few articles. Just write out a few main points that can answer the article questions. Then for your introductory paragraph, write an introductory sentence and then summarize the main points. For your conclusion, the same idea holds just summarize everything, and perhaps give an action point something your reader can do that will be helpful to him.

3) Add your link to your web page to the end of the article. Offer an incentive, such as a free ebook, to get them to visit your web site.

4) Go to a search engine and find a list of article directories that are accepting submissions.

5) Submit your articles to the article directories.

Although that list is quite brief and short, if you literally do each of the things in those steps, you are well on the road to article marketing.

This is

If you are concerned with your website marketing and promotion, which you should be if you want a successful website, then you need to be aware of the importance of utilizing proper targeted keywords in your title tags for your website optimization. I'm not just talking about using keywords in your website content either; I'm talking about in the page titles too. If you optimize your web page content, your Meta keyword tags and your page titles you can see excellent results in terms of increased search engine rankings and thus can receive more high quality website visitors to your site!

When I talk about using targeted keywords in your page titles I am not talking about in your Meta keyword tags. The title tag is separate from your Meta keyword tags and just like your Meta tags is very important. If you don't know already the title tag is what you place between the

<title> and </title> portions of your website code. What you place between these title tags is what will appear in the title bar of Internet browsers when someone views your page. It is very important for your website marketing needs to utilize these tags effectively.

I say targeted keywords instead of just keywords because for best results you should try to make your keywords as targeted towards the content of your website as possible. This will help increase your search engine rankings and make your website marketing efforts worthwhile!

When the search engines rank your web page in their index (thus it will appear in their search results) they take your title tag into consideration. This is why website optimization is such a talked about an important factor for small business websites and personal website alike because effective website optimization can help a website climb to the top of search engine results. When you search for a keyword or a sentence related to your websites content and your website is already ranked in the results, the title of the listing that you will see in all of the major search engines is actually what you have placed between your title tags. As you can probably imagine this makes it important for more than just increasing your search engine rankings since it is what searchers will actually see when they look for content related to your site. By this I mean that the title of your page is what will actually get potential visitors to actually click through to visit your site.

If you have designed your website yourself then you should know that every single page of your website should be optimized if you want it to appear in the results. I highly recommend that you go through all your pages and make sure that the titles within the title tags are all keyword optimized and relevant to the content on that specific page. Targeted keyword optimization is something that you will want to do throughout the content of your pages and the main keywords are what you will want to place in your title. You will also want to learn more about Meta keyword tags because they are important too.

In choosing your title tags in your website optimization efforts you will want to try to stay away from "stop" words. These are words that aren't directly content related and connect sentences generally. I recommend you stay away from them because they are ignored by many search engines when indexing your site. Words such as "and", "or", "I", "of" and "at" are examples of stop words. Trying to use as little stop words as possible in choosing your website title will not just limit how many words get indexed by the search engines but also will give you more valuable space in your title to use content rich targeted keywords.

Unless your business name is commonly searched for in the search engines there really isn't too much of a need to place it in your title tags itself when performing your website optimization. Doing so just uses valuable space that you could utilize with targeted keywords. If somebody searches in a search engine and doesn't already know about your business then having it in your title won't make them want to click through to visit your site. It is generally only after they have been to your site and like what you offer that the average visitor will be interested in your business name itself.

If you are wanting to be at the top of the search results for your business name itself you may wish to include your business name in the title, but I suggest using keyword rich words in your title that are searched for more often. Once you have your business website or personal website keyword optimized you will want to move on with your website marketing and start driving traffic to your site. You should see your pages climb the search engine results for your chosen keywords and will begin to see more natural traffic appearing to your website on a regular basis!

Article Marketing For Beginners

Article marketing is such a great way to get highly qualified traffic to your web site, and it is so easy to break into article marketing, even if you are a beginner.

All you have to do to get started is to write an article and begin submitting to the major article directories. If you are just getting started, I recommend you submit your articles to the top ten article directories online, and then once you have written 20 articles, then once per month, submit to the top 100 article directories online.

So how do you do it?

1) Write article on topics that relate to your web site theme especially themes that correspond with people who visit your web site and buy from you.

2) These articles should be from 250 to about 500 words long. Some people think they should go a little longer, like maybe 750 words but my feeling is, I can get 3 articles for the time of one if I write them in 250-300 word chunks. And I think that shorter articles are easier for people to read, and click through to my web site and web pages.

3) Put a link to your web site in your article.

4) Submit your article to the top ten article directories online.

5) Write more articles.

I think that the single biggest mistake people make is that they only write a few articles. A few articles will do hardly anything for you. You really have to write more than just a few. There is an exponential effect to the articles that you write, in my humble opinion.
