Article Marketing is by far one of the most effective methods of marketing your product, affiliate product or website. It is very easy to do and is also a free marketing method. This is a promotional method that can be used by anyone at any level of internet marketing can use.

The first thing that you need to do is find a product to promote. Then you will need to sit down and write articles relating to your niche. You do need to give your readers some good quality information otherwise they are not likely to follow your link back to your website.

You can easily research the internet or books to find information relating to your niche and you can even research the article directories themselves, just make sure that you never copy anything word for word, and always write your articles in your own words.

When submitting your articles to article directories you will have a resource box at the end of the article where you can write a little information about yourself and also include a link or two back to your product or website.

Before starting your articles you should do some keyword research and find a number of long tail keywords relating to your topic. For example if your niche is on 'dog training' then you will look for long tail keywords like 'dog behaviour training', 'dog obedience training' and 'dog house training'. When writing your articles you can then write one article for each long tail keyword that you have. It is good to have about 30 different keywords to write about.

By doing this you are increasing the number of views your articles will get by targeting these different keyword phrases.

So whether you are promoting your website, blog, affiliate product, or your own product you should see a significant increase in your sales by using Article Marketing.

I am very sure that if you have spoken to any successful internet marketer they will tell you that the big money is in building a big responsive list. Now there are many ways that you can do this.

If we take a look at the most common ways these are ppc, ezine advertising and coregistration. If you are a newbie chances are that you simply do not have a dollar to pay for a new lead as this is roughly what the cost will be. Also you probably will not know how to treat the lead very well to maximize your sales.

In this article I would like to go over the the technique that I use to build my list that generates leads that are up to 10 times more responsive than leads from other sources. Another big advantage is that this is completely free.

My favourite method is writing articles and submitting them to article directories. I usually do some keyword research to find a high traffic keyword with very little competition and include it in the title. I submit my completed article to all the major article directories. I also include a link to my squeeze page in the resource box. If somebody reads my article and likes what I have to say they will automatically click on the link in my resource box to subscribe to my newsletter.

I have found that this is the most reliable method of traffic generation that will build your list. If you set this up correctly you will achieve much better results than other methods.

Article and Content Writing is the key to successful Internet Marketing. It takes some practice and it takes knowing a few simple rules. You want to locate the happy medium between pleasing the Search engines and pleasing your readers. This is as easy as talking to a good friend.

You want to start your writing by choosing your keyword or keyword phrase. You may choose 2 or 3 keywords or phrases for your article or web page content.

I like to use Keyword Phrases in all my Article and Content Writing. Word your keyword phase the way people would type it into the search engine when possible. Do not load your page with keywords or keyword phrases.

Only place your keyword phrases in 3 or 4 places within the text. If writing content for your website place the keywords in the URL. Also use the keyword phrase in the title of the page or article. Place your keyword phrase within the first 90 characters of your writing. Place your keyword phrase once or twice in the main body of the article and then again at the very end of the article.

Do not make your content too short. It actually is possible to make copy too short for search engines. Make your page no less than 250 words. I prefer 400 to 600 words.

Do not try to sound overly intelligent. It is not rocket science to write website content, so do not make it sound like rocket science.

You actually want to write around a 6th grade level for most topics. Choose the grade level based on the topic. Obviously you need to write at a different level if your site is about Medical Procedures than you would if you were writing about Candle Making.

Please! Use your spell checker and re-read your article 3 or 4 times. Look for words that are spelled correctly but are not spelled correctly for what you are saying, these are easy to miss. Example "The for of us went shopping" The spell checker will not catch this and since you know what you meant you might over look it.

How do you know if you have written good search engine friendly content. It will make sense when you read it. If you write just to put a keyword phrase in the content the sentence will not make sense when it is read or it will be hard to read.

Search engine optimized writing is not difficult and getting search engine rankings does not need to destroy your article. Place well chosen keyword phrases into the article and you will be well on your way to successful Article and Content writing

I will answer to several questions to help beginners trying to earn a few bucks online. But first, you need to understand that the bum marketing method is a short term strategy.

First, you need to write and submit articles to the top article directories. These are ezinearticles, goarticles and searchwarp.

I don't have a lot of success with searchwarp, and in fact I stopped submitting articles there.

But there is a little problem with this method. To earn money, you need to practice direct linking. This means that you link directly to the merchant's website.

While you can make anywhere between a few hundreds and a few thousands dollars per month with this method, I don't recommend that you send visitors directly to the merchant. Send them to your own landing page instead because in this case, you are in control of your traffic.

I do not say that direct linking doesn't work, but a landing page is the best way to do it.

Another mistake made by bum marketers is that they try to sprinkle their associate links inside the article. This is really annoying for article owners, and most of them won't even bother publishing your articles.

Another benefit of linking to your own webpage is that search engines will notice the surge in inbound links and your website will have higher rankings in the search engines.

What should you have on your landing page?

It is good to have an opt-in form to capture your visitors email addresses. Then, you will redirect them to the affiliate page with your autoresponder series. It's a proven fact that most of the buyers won't do it at the first visit and you need to expose the offer to your reader several times for maximum conversion.

It has been surmised that a panel may be needed to check into the credentials and expert status of online article authors to see if they pass the proper standards test or can cut the mustard. Many seasoned experts are a little miffed that some online article authors write "thinly veiled" content. A few have floated the idea of setting a panel or quality control board to serve this process.

But is that even feasible? Some of the top online article writers believe that it is not such an easy task and perhaps may not even be feasible.
