SEO Optimization - Get Key word Density Just Right

It has always been about being noticed. People dress well or do something bizarre in order to be noticed or make a statement. To get ahead in life or business one needs to be at the top, first in line. Now more often than not, the World Wide Web to functions along the same principles.

With tough competition between websites, articles, and e-commerce sites what makes one more successful than others is the position a site gets on search engines. The higher the ranking the larger the number of hits or traffic to the site. To achieve a higher position websites use the strategy of SEO optimization and content is written such that it is key word dense.

It is not as simple as using words repeatedly you need to know which keywords are relevant to your website and pages. Once you have a master list ensure that :

Match keyword tag with content. Ensure that the keyword meta tag has around 900 characters or 25 words.

Ensure that the keyword density in between 3-10% . And, avoid using the same word more than once in a sentence. Check keyword validators to determine the exact density percentage.

Try and maximize use in the top half of the page. Many search engine spiders do not go beyond 25-50%.

Be smart and spell your keywords with variations and also include plurals.

Go one step ahead and make use of a keyword density checker. This is an automated system that will comb through your web content and highlight words used in higher density. The system will enable you to perfect your pages and provide what search engines or spiders want.

A Keyword Density Cloud see http://www.webconfs.com/keyword-density-checker.php can be used effectively to crawl selected URLs, analyze word density, and remove common stop words. The tool can be added to your website and fulfil a vital role in SEO optimization.

It is all about knowing how to gather your audience or customers and the keyword density checker or cloud can help you through several stumbling blocks. The golden rules of SEO are: keyword density, keyword frequency, keyword prominence, and keyword proximity.

The basic rule of thumb is to know what are the keywords your potential customers are likely to use. Key words must not be random but relevant to your line of business. The trick is to strike a balance neither too many nor too little. Too many can get your site banned and too little means you get lower rankings and your wonderful site goes unnoticed.

So, while sticking to your marketing plan and focus take a moment to take care of web content and its many nuances. Make content meaningful and relevant, find out the most important words that will be used to find what your site has to offer (put yourself in the users shoes). And construct content using all the golden rules and keys mentioned above. If you tread the right path success in the World Wide Web will be yours.

Article marketing is one of the most powerful website marketing strategies in the internet today. As search engines remain to the be best source of warm and targeted traffic, more and more webmasters are using article marketing so they can fare well on major search engines.

Here are the 3 comprehensive methods to advance with article marketing:

1. Write for your readers. Article marketing can bring you numerous benefits. It can improve your page ranking, increase the number of targeted visitors to your site, and it can help you communicate your expertise to your potential readers. However, before you can achieve all of that, you must know how to attract and please your target market first. You can easily do so by writing content that is targeted to their needs and demands. That is why, it is very crucial for you to get to know your readers first even before you start writing your articles so you can effectively adjust your writing style and language on the level that they are most comfortable with.

2. Widely distribute your articles. It is not enough that you submit your articles to major submission sites. To get maximum exposure, you must consistently find avenues where you can post your content. Some marketers are submitting their articles to websites that are syndicated by Google and Yahoo News. While others are posting their writing materials to various sites like wikis, forums, blogs, and on their own websites.

3. Bank on the quality of your content. It article marketing, it is useless to write numerous low quality articles. Why? Because these articles are unlikely to get distributed or republished by other marketers. Thus, they will not be able to help you augment your traffic and your page ranking. So, instead of focusing on the number of your articles, concentrate on your content. It is better to have few articles that are worth distributing that more articles that will just sit on publishing sites and will not have the chance to go further.

Profitable Article Marketing - Discover 5 Great Ways to Make Money Through Article Marketing

It is no secret that article marketing is currently the best product and website promotional tool in the internet today. Webmasters simply love it as it continues to bring favorable results not only in terms of augmenting traffic, profits and sales leads, but also in securing better ranking on search engines.

1. Increase the chances of your articles being picked up and republished by other webmasters by making them all content-rich, informative, useful, attention-grabbing, and keyword-rich. This can potentially increase the number of inbound links for your website that can lead to increased traffic and more sales leads.

2. Create compelling titles. Your headlines are your only tools in getting people to take interest on your articles when they are shown on search page results together with other articles written by different authors. If your titles are attention-grabbing and enticing, your articles will stand better chances of being opened and read.

3. Keep your articles short. People online generally prefer articles that run 300-500 words. Why? Because they are easy on the eyes and more interesting to read compare to lengthy articles. Besides, online users usually do not have much time to spare when they are looking for information over the internet.

4. Keep your sales pitches off your content. Avoid making your articles sound like sales letters. Remember, in order to convince your readers to visit your website is to give them information that they will find useful and relevant to their needs. Reserve your sales pitches for your resource box.

5. Pick the best publishing sites. Submitting your articles online can be a tedious and time-consuming task. It would help if you can identify the article submission sites that can give your articles the exposure they need and just ignore those which do not have steady traffic or not indexed by Google.

4 Reasons Why You Need Testimonials to Sell More

The other day I was writing a sales brochure for a West Coast manufacturer. As I got to what Ill call the proof section of the brochure, I was rummaging around for testimonials. The company already had a full-blown Web site and a solid PowerPoint presentation. So I was hopeful that Id find some ready made testimonials or at least some material I could use to create some.

As it turned out, they had one case study with a couple of customer quotes. I pieced together the material to create one measly testimonial. It was less than adequate.

Well, maybe its no big deal. After all, I wrote strong copy. Why even bother with testimonials? Ill give you four good reasons.

1. Credibility

Testimonials give your company, product, or service credibility. Everyone is bombarded with advertising messages every day. Its a brutal marketplace. If you want to sell something to somebody, you stand a much better chance if you can convince them that youre credible. Testimonials are like references on a resume. Theyre the people who vouch for you.

2. Identification

Your prospects identify with your customers who are providing the testimonials. They have similar concerns, problems, hopes and desires. They commiserate. This is good. You want this in your marketing. (Sorry, but your prospects dont identify with you. Not really. Youre trying to sell them something!)

3. Proof

Proof, alone, is reason enough to gather and use testimonials. This is where your customers say, in effect, Theyre right, Mr. or Ms. Prospect. They can save you 50% ... or make you feel 18 again ... or make you enough money to retire at 50. They did it for me and Im thrilled! Testimonials notarize your marketing speak.

4. Closure

Testimonials help close the sale. Sure, they can be used throughout a marketing piece. But they definitely come in handy toward the end. Youve introduced the problem or need, your product or service, the features and benefits, and more. Then you line up your testimonials, all the customers whose heads are nodding and saying, Yep, it worked for me. Soon after, you ask for the order.

For many reasons, testimonials give your prospects the confidence they need to buy from you for the first time. And once your prospects turn into new customers, the door to repeat sales swings wide open.

Perfecting Your Squeeze Page

You can make a lot of money on the Internet. Those who are the most successful make the bulk of their money from their lists. To be truly successful, you need a large (and growing) list. List building is one area where size really does matter, the bigger your list, the bigger your income. And the better your squeeze page, the faster your list will grow.

A squeeze page is web page where visitors sign in and subscribe to your list. The primary (first) link in all of my articles will point to my squeeze page.

With each article I write, I have two goals in mind. My primary goal is to entice readers to opt into my list. My second objective is to offer some sort of promotional sale item that viewers may be interested in buying. Granted, only a very small percentage of people will make a purchase after seeing a single article, but it is money just the same. Follow the guidelines below to build that perfect squeeze page and start generating those huge long-term profits.

Make sure your opt in box is above the fold, that means, you will see this box without having to page up, page down, or otherwise use your mouse. Your opt in box should have a place of prominence on your page. Ive heard some people say that they increased the conversion percentages substantially by moving their opt in box to the top. Although I must admit, I have not done that sort of research, so I cant be certain about that.

There should never be any distractions on your squeeze page. No ads of any kind, no links, no nothing! Your one and only goal is to convince the reader to opt in. Do not give your visitors an opportunity to click on an item and leave your page.

Your long-term success depends upon the quality and quantity of your list. Dont be afraid to tweak your squeeze page. Then, make sure you test the results to see which page performed better. Remember, the long-term money is in your list, and the size of your list is directly related to the quality of your squeeze page. The information in this article is taken from an excerpt of my ebook, Super Charge Your List, which is available at my website.

Article Marketing - A Powerful Tool

Article marketing has many benefits which may include establishing yourself as an Author, lead generation, more traffic to your web site, improved search engine position and is becoming a necessary tool for doing business on the World Wide Web. Article marketing has become a proven strategy for raising your link popularity. It can also be a cheap way to compete with larger companies in your field.

It's best to write on topics that are closely related to your business type, while making sure that the article provides good content for the reader, no one wants to read a sales page. Every article that you write will need a resource box section that will contain your sales info including an (anchor text) link or two pointing to your Web site. You could have a terrific product and a wonderful sales strategy, but without the targeted traffic your online business could be going no-where.

You can take advantage of a ton of free article submission sites on the internet, where you can submit your articles for free, some also offer software and services to help in the process. Once approved, the sites will make your articles available for distribution and publication to ezines, webmasters etc... Now there is no more need to beg for reciprocal link exchanges, pay for text links, or spend hours posting free ads to link farms that no one will read anyway. Articles, written yourself, are becoming the fastest and cheapest way to see results from your efforts.

When done properly, article marketing can be a very powerful tool to drive loads of targeted traffic to your web site. Whether your business is brand new or you have been in business for a while, you can gain new customers from marketing your own articles. To be the most effective, article marketing should just be part of a larger, more comprehensive SEO strategy. Remember, the goal of successful marketing is increased business and most importantly profit and this can be achieved with the help of article marketing.

How To Increase The Number Of Clicks That Your Articles Generate

Most of us write articles to generate clicks from the links that we place in the resource box. The main purpose of this is to either increase traffic to our websites or to interest readers in a product that we are promoting. But how do we realize these goals?

In order to succeed, there are 3 main tasks you must accomplish:

1) Youve got to attract readers. The only real method to attract viewers is with a compelling title. When people are looking for information on a particular subject, they scan through a list of titles. This list may contain several hundred articles. Your title has to grab them and compel them to read your piece. Your title has to jump out at them and draw them in. If youve written a great article full of fascinating information, no one will read it if it has an uninteresting title. All of your work will have been fruitless. Youve got to grab their attention with an intriguing title.

2) Youve got to have a good article. If your article is not well written, or if it contains little information of value, your readers will quickly click away, and again, your work will have been fruitless. For that reason, it is important to write a great article with good information, and a compelling title.

3) The third ingredient for a successful article is a good resource box. Ideally, the information in your article should be related to the links in your resource box. This is extremely important. If your article is about ice fishing in Alaska and your links refer to vacationing in the tropics, you probably wont generate many clicks. Thats because the people who read the article are interested in ice fishing, not sun bathing. However, if your resource box contained links for a travel agency specializing in Alaskan tours, you would probably generate a lot of clicks. Coordinate the information in your resource box with the content of your article. I use a number of different resource boxes, depending on what I am writing about.

If youve done a good job in each of these three areas, your article will achieve very good readership and your links will generate plenty of traffic. If your article is generating good readership, but you are not getting many clicks, it may mean that you need to work on steps 2 or 3 above.

With some of my best articles, over 17% of the readers have clicked on my links. That is a great percentage! On average though, only about 7%-8% of readers will click on a link.

The Holy Grail of Internet Marketing

Internet marketing is much more than putting your product online and pitching it to people. If you're going to be an internet superstar there are three important steps you must take.

Establishing an internet business goes far beyond creating a product and placing it online for sale or seeking out a product to promote for affiliate revenue and blasting it across the internet and through email. Internet marketing starts with building yourself a reputation as someone sincerely interested in your customers, offering them information and help, and promoting your business or product on your website. That of course requires you have a website so another important part of marketing is to present website content that is useful, accurate, and current with the market.

One of the great things about doing business on the internet is that you can get started fro free or very little cost, depending on the approach you take. And you don;t have to have much to start a marketing campaign that is effective. There are many resources and tools available today that are free. You just need to do your research and make sure that the freebie offers you the functionality you need and with a degree of professionalism.

Here are three absolute essential ingredients for creating a successful internet marketing business.

Communication with your Customers

Being available for your customers and potential customers is perhaps the most important aspect of your online presence. It may seem unfair but the global 24 hours a day and seven days a week reach of the internet makes the window of communication opportunity very small. If you don't respond quickly your customer may go elsewhere. E-mail is a great way to communicate with your customers but the key is to stay on top of your inbox and respond quickly. Establish a schedule to review incoming email and respond to your customers' needs. You may need to set up a 3 times per day schedule. f you don't have the ability or the man power to you need to take another look at your setup and either reorganize your business or hire someone to help you.

Products and Services

Customers need to find value in what you have to offer, whether it be your free report that sells your own product or your direct sales product or service you have to offer. There are two motivating factors when it comes to selling online: cost and convenience. Will your customer find it easier to buy online than finding the same product in a local store? Is it cheaper for your customer to buy this product from you online? Do you offer some sort of additional value that encourages the purchase? Consider your offer and ask yourself if you would buy what you are selling. Look around at the other offers and top them. Competition abounds so you have to stay on top of the game to deliver the best offer with the best value for the best price.

Delivery and Support

Immediate delivery is a selling factor that makes online purchasing attractive to customers who want the product immediately. Having to wait for delivery is not in line with the instantaneous nature of the internet. So your key to a satisfied customer is convenience, instant access, and quick service. It can mean the difference in you getting a sale and in losing a returning customer. Test your system. Make sure it is user-friendly, easy to understand, functioning as promised. Be available for your customer's needs after the sale. If your system quirks and there's a problem with delivery you need to be there to get it delivered.

Online success starts with the building blocks of business design. Put yourself in your customers shoes. Communicate with your customers quickly and in a helpful manner. Offer them what they need at a great price and with a bonus product or some other sort of added value. Provide quick, if not instant, delivery. If you can base your business on these three principles you will have the keys necessary to open the door to online business success.

Information About Article Marketing - An Overview of a Process That Really Works!

Information about article marketing - If you're looking for any kind of information about Article Marketing today, you've probably had no luck finding a process that really works.

Well, the information about article marketing that I'm going to give you in this article really does work. And I'll spell it out for you, FREE!

Most information about article marketing consists of a plan that probably involves a variation of the process (information about article marketing ) that I use and recommend:

1) You find the niche market that you're going to target.

2) You do keyword research to evaluate your market to make certain it's viable and profitable.

3) You put together a basic website.

4) You start writing articles based around certain keyword phrases you've targeted in Step #2.

5) You add new pages to your website written around the different keyword phrase in Step #4.

6) You rewrite the article and then submit the new version of the article to a number of Article Directories where it will quickly draw Google's attention because, for whatever reason, Google loves these particular 7 Article Directories (hence the name "Big 7").

=================================================

Quick Tip: Step #6 is essential to your plan of attack (the information about how to improve your article marketing). However, you'll find it takes a lot of time & effort to submit your articles to the "Big 7". That's one reason I developed my software "Your Article Marketing Assistant". It makes the tedious parts of the process as easy as possible. It turns a tedious (but necessary) process into a "Semi-Automatic" process that gives you the control that purely manual article submissions do along with some automated processes that make the process faster & easier! You'll get the best of both worlds!

=================================================

7) After creating a number of articles and submitting them to the "Big 7", you then start submitting the website itself to a number of Website Directories that accept submissions.

Here's the theory behind all of this information about article marketing in a nutshell.

You want your website to show up in the Natural Search Engines Ranking Pages (SERPs) of the Big Three Search Engines (Google, Yahoo! And MSN).

Gaining Incoming Links will make your website more & more visible in the Natural SERPs which is what we are after. Incoming Links are one way links that are on other websites that point towards your Home Page. Links that you trade with other websites are called "Reciprocal Links" and while they're good, especially from other websites in your niche market, they're not considered to be as good as pure Incoming (one way) Links.

Steps #4 & #5 combine to do a number of things. The "Big 7" that I suggest submitting your articles to are recognized very strongly and quickly by all three of the major Search Engines. One of the things accomplished by Steps #4 & #5 is to gain Incoming Links from very well respected sources.

The entire point of Step #7 is to begin getting a massive amount of Incoming Links pointing towards the Home Page of your website. The more links you can get, the better - hence use of the term "Massive".

=================================================

Quick Tip: You'll find Step #7 to be labor-intensive and boring. That's why I developed "Your Article Marketing Assistant" - to make the process faster & easier!

My software makes it quick & painless to submit your website to almost 500 Website Directories and it's not done in a way to make it seem like an automated submission (most Website Directories frown on automatic submissions.) Our package is a "Semi-Automatic" method that combines the attention to detail that you get with purely manual submissions while automating the task a bit to make it much, much faster and easier.

=================================================

Article Marketing (done properly the way I've suggested) is one of the most powerful SEO techniques in use today, the end of February 2007.

When coupled with Website Submission to the directories I suggest (the 2nd prong of this powerful 2-Pronged Attack Plan, you have one of the most powerful strategies for quickly and easily getting a website indexed in the Natural SERPs being employed today!

Press Releases - Grab 'Em Fast and Don't Let Go

TIPS FROM THE TOP

For radio and TV: Approach producers as if they have ADD (attention deficit disorder). Get their attention fast. If your press release doesn't capture the producers' attention within the first ten seconds, you're dead; they'll be off on something else. They seldom read press releases, but when they do, they usually just scan the headlines and bullets. Producers' lives are blurs. Everything is an emergency or a crisis...so make press releases for producers shorter than those you send to print journalists. Tips:

Headlines are critical. They should be one line only, take seconds to read and focus on value and benefit.

The media is obsessed with three topics that it thinks audiences crave: money, sex and health. So, whenever possible, tie your headlines to those topics.

Establish a "Who Gives a Damn" meter. Determine if anyone would care about the information presented. If so, identify specifically who would care. Then determine why they would care. Once done, write headlines and bullets targeted to those who would care.

For print: For the print media the first paragraph of your press release is vital. It should run no more than three or four sentences and set forth all of the main points covered in the release. Don't muddy your opening paragraph with too much detail...Use subsequent paragraphs to further explain your story, including background, more specific information, and even include quotes or endorsements. But keep the entire release to one page. After you've drafted the release, tie it together with a catchy headline...always include your contact information at both the top and bottom of the page. [And remember] that print media can publish a press release, or parts of it, with little or no change, and their job is done. ___

Exploit Your Article Writing for the Greatest Possible Article Marketing Success

How's Your Article Production?

Are you writing a sufficiently continuous string of articles to market your product, service or business? Does an article roll off of your writing production line each day? How about two or three articles per day on an average? If so, great! If not you might want to consider trying out some new ways to ramp up your article writing output to more useful and acceptable levels to aid in reaching your marketing goals for this year.

Have You Ever Seen an Octopus?

If you've ever seen or tried to handle an octopus, you quickly realized that one of your biggest problems was determining where it was going. Its eight arms reach out in different directions and if you try to block or corral it in one way it instantly seems to proceed in two or more other directions at the same time. So it should be with your article writing and article marketing. You should be continually expanding not only the quantity of your articles, but their quality and format as well. This way you'll be constantly expanding your reach and expanding your brand or online presence.

Let Me Explain

After writing an article, or better yet, a series of articles, do you make sure to post them on several prominent article marketing sites? Don't just post to one article marketing site, post each of your articles to several article marketing sites. Next, how about changing your article's format? Well, you can convert each of your articles or article series into an audio-visual presentation which is then placed on your webpage or article marketing site. Use Microsoft Power Point, Flash or other format to create a presentation your interested readers might enjoy. Add sound, animation and color to the presentation to really "spice it up"and raise its interest value.

Other Useful Formats for Your Marketing Articles

Try reading your marketing article or series of articles out loud and recording them digitally using either a digital recording device or a software program like Audacity, Gold Wave or any of several other freely available ones. Now you've expanded into the audio production area with your article marketing. Burn these onto a CD ROM and you have a digital product to sell or give away. There's absolutely no reason why you couldn't do the same thing using video. Videotape yourself presenting your marketing article content aloud and burn the audio-visual presentation onto a CD ROM or a DVD and you'll have yet another valuable resource to sell or give away to clients and opt-ins. Depending on the topic of the articles you write, a screen-capture presentation might also be quite possible. Another good option is to record or provide a tele-conference based on your articles or series of articles at one of the free or very inexpensive tele-conferencing sites available online.

E-books and Reports Galore

Now don't stop there either. As an accomplished writer, you should most certainly compile your article writing into ten, twenty, fifty or more page e-books and reports which are also quite saleable online either as a package or individually. All this of course, from articles that you've already written and perhaps even already published as well. Don't forget to offer your marketing articles to other topic or theme-related blogs, newsletters and websites online. So consider exploiting your article writing for even greater article writing and article marketing success.

Article Marketing Tips - Effective Methods

It's no secret that using articles is one of the best ways to market one's business, add credibility to a website and promote products. However, for you to be able to use articles as a marketing tool, you need to know how to market the articles in the first place, so that they maybe viewed by as many people as possible!

In this article we will discuss ten powerful and effective marketing tips that you can implement in order to unleash the true power of your articles!

Article Marketing Tips #1: Useful Information: When it comes to this type of marketing, keep in mind that the biggest reason why anyone will read your article is for information that will help them. So make sure you include some helpful information and minimize the amount of "fluff" or "padding" which is often used to maximize the word count.

Article Marketing Tips #2: KISS: In this case it means "keep it Short and Simple." When you write content or get it written for the internet and ezines, keep your articles precise and concise. This is important to hold the attention of your reader because unlike offline publications, reading off screens results in much shorter attention spans for your audience.

Article Marketing Tips #3: Name Games: When naming your article be sure to mention the main message or the main reason why people would read your article in the title itself.

Article Marketing Tips #4: Use Article Directories to the Fullest: One of the best ways to market your articles is to submit them to directories which already command a huge audience. The top five article directories in my book are:

1. EzineArticles
2. Articlesdynamic
3. Articlesinsync
4. Articlemarketer
5. Buzzle

Article Marketing Tips #5: Automate your Articles: Simply set up your articles on an autoresponder and use it to list all your articles!

Article Marketing Tips #6: RSS Feeds: Put your articles in RSS feeds and syndicate them to all parties who are interested. RSS works! Some examples are Google Blog Search, XML Sitemaps, and Microsoft's RSS Powered Longhorn etc.

Article Marketing Tips #7: Place Articles on Your Website: Position all your articles on your site. Not only does this help build trust and credibility but it will also attract tons of keyword based traffic from the search engines.

Article Marketing Tips #8: Use eBooks: This is a great viral technique that actually delivers. The idea is to position all your popular articles in an eBook that can be branded and distributed, for people to read refer to as many times as they want!

Article Marketing Tips #9: Use Affiliates: If you have affiliates, allow them to brand your articles using their affiliate IDs and promote them for you. In other words, use your affiliate's resources to market your articles as well!

Article Marketing Tips #10: Cross Link Your Articles: This means, you should cross reference your articles by placing links to your other articles in the article you are creating. If your link placement makes sense and content is helpful and not a blatant promotion of your other articles, then, there should be no reason why ezine webmasters or editors should object to your doing this.

So, to conclude, follow the above mentioned article marketing tips in mind and discover the true power of article marketing!

Marketing Plan: The Most Powerful Tool For Small Businesses

Devising correct marketing strategies are important for expansion of all the businesses. Only those products that are marketed well sell in the market. They sell because their promoter has done his groundwork well. He has found out answers to the basic questions that determine the success of any business. He has found out who he is, what is he doing, which is his market, who are the potential customers, and when does he want do product launch and how does he trap customers.

The marketing plan document developed by the promoter will have answers to all these queries and lay the foundation of the business success or failure, depending on how cautiously it has been planned. A marketing strategy must be written and communicated in a very simple way.

Listed below are the tips that would enable small business owners to plan their marketing strategies well so that they rock the market, eliminating the need to outsource such work, which is costlier.

Remain Focused: You must identify your revenue source and then see the client who is giving you maximum business. Find out what is unique about that client and why does he do business with you. You can also try and delve into some of their personal details such as why they are doing what they are doing and what do they want from life. You will be able to strengthen you relationship with the client and find out whether other clients are like that particular client of yours. If yes, they are likely to do business with you, if no say no for transactions with them.

Place you Business: Find out what you would like to do i.e. think about what services to offer and what product packages to provide. Then, target a market where your product is most likely to sell. The simplest way to do this kind of a survey is to ask some of your clients about why they purchase from you.

Give Right Messages: All the businessmen, small or large, must understand that the customers do not buy what they sell; instead, they buy the benefits that your products offer. Therefore, see to it that your products offer the attributes the customers are looking out for and make sure that you communicate all the benefits of the products in the right manner.

Use Marketing Materials: Update your marketing mediums such as website, so that the customers are aware of the new things you added to your kitty. You can also encourage blogging among the customers to give them a platform for discussing your product. This will help you to upgrade the products regularly.

Article Marketing

Article Marketing for Targeted Traffic

You can promote the best products in the world but if people don't visit your website and see your reviews there is no way that you will make any sales. When there are so many other people out there competing, what strategies are available to drive targetted traffic to your site?

One of the best ways of driving free traffic to your website is by article marketing. Have a blog on your website and post articles there. Then submit these articles to other websites called article directories.

Three great article directories are

EzineArticles (generally considered the best of them all)

goarticles

associatedcontent

By writing articles about the product or service your website deal with and submitting them to highly ranked article directories you can send highly targetted traffic to your website for free. That's the great thing about article marketing, all it costs you is your time.

There is another benefit to article marketing, this is creating backlinks. The more backlinks you have from highly ranked sites means that search engines such as Google, MSN or Yahoo view your site as more important and give you a higher page ranking and the higher your page ranking the more visitors you will get to your site.

When you submit your article to an article directory for the first time you will be asked to fill out an 'Author's Resource Box.' This is where you get to write a brief description of yourself, and more importantly, a link to your website. This allows people who are already interested in what you have to offer to visit your.

Also, if the article is well written other bloggers in the same market as you may reproduce it on their websites but they are only allowed to do this by including your Author's Resource Box so this is another link to your site.

Another way to ensure your articles catch the attention of the search engines is to ensure that they are keyword rich.

If you are writing about sausage making equipment then this phrase needs to be in the first and last paragraphs of the article. In the first paragraph have the phrase in bold lettering and in the last paragraph have it in italics, this helps the Search Engines to recognise what the article is about. If possible, have the phrase as a clickable link to website of the product you are affiliated to (with your affiliate link, of course).

These are just some of the ways you can optimise your article for the search engines so that they list your site when people use the keywords or phrases that are in your article.

I will be covering Search Engine Optimisation in more depth in other articles but that, for now, is the basics of article marketing and how it can dirve targetted traffic to your website.

Productive Article Marketing - Latest 6 Comprehensive Methods to Grow Your Article Marketing

Article marketing is undoubtedly the most sought-after marketing tool in the internet today. Marketers simply love it because aside from the fact that it delivers great results it's also for free.

Here are the latest 6 comprehensive methods to grow your article marketing:

1. Write to inform and not to impress. People read articles because they would like to be equipped with valuable information that they will find useful and valuable to their lives. They would like the articles to be written in such a way that they would be easily understood. So, forget your love for big words and avoid presenting your information in an encyclopedia format.

2. Take advantage of major publishing sites. To give your articles the exposure they need, register to all leading article submission sites in the internet today. Check their page ranking and the kind of traffic they attract as these are two elements that can help you advance your article marketing strategies. Don't waste your time on publishing sites that have few members or newly constructed.

3. Never leave any stone unturned. By this, I mean strive to give your readers complete information so they would better understand your topic. You can do this through thorough research and brainstorming.

4. Don't advertise on your articles. Focus on giving your readers the information that they need. This is the surest way to convince them to check on your resource box.

5. Use striking resource box. To effectively convince your readers to check on your website, you need to make sure that your resource box is compelling and attention-grabbing. Communicate what you can offer or provide incentives to every person who checks on your website.

6. Keep your articles short. Avoid beating around the bush and present your information upfront.

Top Internet Marketing Strategies For New Websites

Its your first time to open shop online and you're wondering what you should do to make your presence felt. The Internet is a daunting world. It's almost as vast and unlimited as the universe, making the prospect of getting your website within your target market's radar seemingly impossible. Be that as it may, your new website still has a chance of surviving and especially if you consider the following tips.

Top Internet Marketing Strategies for New Websites

In the Internet, paid advertisements are definitely bigger and brighter, but search engines still give free advertisements a fighting chance. Here's what you can do to make your new website known without spending too much money.

Create the Best Website You Can

No Internet marketing strategy can help you if your website isn't worth visiting in the first place. Start with the design. You want the kind of web layout and design that your target market will instantly find appealing. The layout must also be user-friendly: it won't do to have your readers lost and unable to find their way back to your homepage. In most cases, navigation will be made easier by creating highly discernible links and uploading a site map.

Understand How Search Engine Optimization Works

Search engines can make or break you. If you're not in the good side of search engines then its almost impossible for your website to get noticed by the right people. If you want your target market to discover your website, you need to know how to please search engine spiders.

You need to understand, for instance, why using HTML codes is a positive thing, even if it offers less flexibility and options than other and more sophisticated languages. You need to understand the importance of keywords and the dos and don'ts that come along with using them.

Content Is King

Your website must offer valuable content. Search engines may be responsible for getting readers to notice your website, but it's the content that will ultimately be responsible for making them come back to your website again and again.

Content is what makes visiting your website into a habit. For content to be valuable, it must have relevance to your readers. If teenagers make up your target market then you need to discuss something they can relate to. Talking about the most popular TV shows might get them to listen to you but discussing the stock market would just fall on deaf ears.

Secondly, the data you're providing must be of interest to your target market. It's not enough to simply discuss an important subject. You need to show them what they'll get from it. Ecology is an important issue, but do people generally find time to learn more about it? But with the right perspective or approach, such as using Leonardo di Caprio as spokesperson or pointing how unawareness of ecological issues could cause them to die in five years, even the most boring of subjects will be diligently pursued.

Spell Out the Benefits

People just seem to get busier and busier everyday, and that's one of the reasons why they dont have the patience or inclination to check out websites whose benefits are ambiguous at most. If you want people to pay attention to your website, you need to find the equivalent to having a neon signage flashing the benefits of visiting your website. The message must be simple, straightforward, and powerful: let them know what they'll get and they'll come to you if they want it.

Outsoure To The Philippines - Where Every Dollar Counts

IT outsourcing to the Philippines by companies like AoV Outsourcing service, PI Outsource, AJK Consulting, MicroSourcing and numerous other BPO and KPO companies has been on the stream of economic issues not only in the country but mainly in the United States as well. It is undeniably the factor that steers the growth of our economy. Apparently, there is no standard legitimate definition for outsource to the Philippines. But generally, outsourcing is the transfer of fractions of work to an outside service provider or suppliers to reduce the cost of expenses. This often result to more business opportunity for companies. It has been continuously booming for the past years since the labour of our workers here are considerably cheaper than the services offered elsewhere.

Since 2000, IT outsource to the Philippines have sprouted like mushrooms throughout major Philippine cities, including Iloilo's AoV Outsourcing service, Manila's Archangles IT, Clark's (the former US military base in Pampanga province) RCG-IT, Cebu's PODD Corp., Dumaguete' SPI and Davao's BHI Pro, catering largely to US firms seeking cheap labor to handle so-called "cyberservices", including customer care, back-office processing, data transcription and other information-technology-related services.

The focus of IT outsourcing to the Philippines is to provide both your customers and the search engines with what they seeking, highly accessible information. The main 3 search engines, Google, Yahoo and MSN, are constantly refining and altering the algorithms that drive their engines to produce the most relevant and useful results.

The Philippine Cyberservices Corridor is a plan that is being pursued by the government of the Philippines to create interconnected centers of technology-related services, that are spread out all over the country. Services include IT outsourcing to the Philippines, medical transcription, and the like. It is part of the ten-point agenda of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and is one of the five "super-regions" outlined in her 2006 State of the Nation Address.

In 2005, the country employed about 100,000 BPO/KPO and customer care agents, with employment growing yearly. This growth is expected to accelerate by the completion of the corridor. It is estimated that 200,000 people are working in 120 BPO in the Philippines in 2006, and expected to bring in revenues of US$3.8 billion for the year. Overall, Philippine BPO is forecasted to earn US$13 billion for the year 2010.

As you know there are many Online Article Marketing Strategies and Techniques. You see Online Article Marketing is a very effective way to achieve targeted traffic; customers coming to your web site who are more opt to buy your products or services.

Online Article Marketing is writing informational articles with a byline on the bottom that has a link to your web site. By submitting your articles to an online article submission web site that syndicates the articles they will end up all over the Internet and drive traffic to you.

I have made "The Case For Online Article Marketing" in the past and I will do it again, because it does make sense for online article authors to engage in writing articles to increase targeted traffic. When people ask me questions like;

  • Does Online Article Marketing work?
  • Is it worth writing hundreds of articles in order to attract targeted traffic to your online business?
  • Should you spend the time to write articles and put them online at an online article directory web site?
  • If you put a byline underneath the article will customers click on it that are interested in what you sell and come to your web site?
  • Will these customers once they come to your web site by your products or services?
  • Does online article marketing really work?
Well, I feel I am qualified now to present the case for Online Article Marketing and recommend why you should participate in online article marketing if you have a web site which sells your products or services.

Even if you are not selling anything I still recommend online article marketing to drive traffic to your nonprofit cause, political web site or to help present your case for a change for humanity, society or government.

I certainly hope this article is of interest and that is has propelled thought. The goal is simple; to help you in your quest to be the best in 2007. I thank you for reading my many articles on diverse subjects, which interest you.

Submit Articles For Money Or Love?

Targeted traffic to your website is the lifeblood of free money online. Submit articles for free article directories such as ezinearticles and you are assured of success. Submitting articles has been a proven method of generating free traffic and free money from advertisers willing and eager to capture some of your traffic to their more lucrative websites.

There are many advantages to yourself and your advertisers if you submit articles for money making websites. Firstly there is the advantage of a generous back link to your website targeted to entice the search engines spiders to follow along. Secondly, there is also the benefits of a reader of your submitted article being interested in your content and duplicating it for the benefits of their readers, this again brings additional benefits.

Submit articles for money generating purposes and you could be in serious danger of making it to the front pages of google and other search engines if you can possibly write interesting enough content with sufficient keyword optimization skills to satisfy the search engines. I am not here to discuss all the merits of submitting an article, however I do suggest you add article writing and article submission to your arsenal of online marketing strategies.

Our advice is to submit articles about those things you feel at ease writing about. It tends to assist your article submission when published to the world wide web. Words always tend to flow with ease when articles are written in this way.

Now, the fun part begins when you begin to submit articles for money making websites online. These particular articles are genuinely written with the sole intention of driving highly targeted visitors to your website. Their purpose as an article is to generate genuine interest in the subject written.

If we were to take this article as an example, it would obviously be written in such a style as to generate interest in article submission and the benefits thereof. We would suggest to submit articles written in this type of style and to do so on a regular basis. I personally submit articles on a two or three day basis, this of course is no more than maybe two or three articles per week, the subjects of those articles are never the same and they are spread across several topics of interest.

When you submit articles in this way, it allows for a larger catchment of people and as we mentioned earlier the purpose of the article is to generate additional traffic. I do not believe for an instant that there are authors that do not keep this in the forefront of their mind when creating a masterpiece to submit to article directories.

If you find manually inputting your article is too much like hard work, then why not submit articles to your favorite free article directories using purpose made article submitter software. They have the capabilities to automatically fill in forms and article content onto article submission pages at a breeze.

I am still a great believer in the personal approach when I submit articles. Creating an original article on one source, however, the day is fast approaching where this type of automated article submission will overtake the capacity of us die hard article writers. I guess the internet has room for us all, but for how much longer?

SEO - Quick Tips for Instant Results

People ask me on a daily basis how to do a couple of quick fixes which will make their site appear higher in the search results. The type of people that ask me are usually people who have been doing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) themselves but have not had any great success. This article is for people just starting to do SEO or for people who have been doing it for a long time. The tips are easy to implement and anyone who knows a bit about HTML and SEO will be able make the changes easily.

This article will out line a number of Quick Fixes which will make your site move up the search results almost immediately.

1) Use H1, H2, H3 tags in your content with your keywords appearing in them.
2) Use Alt Tags in your website; make sure that they include your keywords too.
3) Create fresh content as frequently as possible.
4) Dont let your keyword density exceed 15%.
5) Make sure you dont have a slow loading site.
6) No duplicate content, always keep your text original.
7) Make sure your navigation is text based and your site is easy to navigate
8) Have many RELEVANT backlinks to your website.
9) Backlinks should include anchor text that is varied.
10) Dont link to banned sites or bad neighbourhoods
11) Dont use too much script, make sure your site is content rich.
12) Dont ever use Frames or Flash.

These tips are suggested for websites that are established already and have some history. New sites should be optimised as they are build and as they are new it will take a while for the search engines to show them in their results. Therefore, any changes made will not have any effect on a new site with no history or backlinks.

It requires great patience to do SEO effectively; the most important factor in SEO is building a good number of backlinks to your site. The backlinks should be from many different sources and be related to your industry in some why. Also, use your keywords in your anchor text this will make a huge difference.
